Only One Way Out – For the Bees and For Us

I was reading about a certain plant which would be attractive to a bee, and as the be would land in this flower, parts of the flower would cover up the bee, much like a Venus Fly Trap would do with flies, but, in this particular plant, there would be ample space for the bee to move around in. It would create a living area for the bee, so to speak. The bee would be in distress for a while, but when it calms down, there is one opening, and only one, in which the bee can escape through. The now calmed down bee goes through that passage way and as it makes its exit, it receives lots of pollen.

The bee has a choice. It could stay inside the flower and eventually die, or, it could exit through the special passageway that is provided for it to escape with. I think bees generally choose to exit through the passage, but I haven’t researched this yet.

It is much the same way with salvation. The Bible says that Jesus is the only way we can enter heaven. John 14:6 says that Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through Him. There is no other method of salvation. Salvation doesn’t come from belonging to a certain church or denomination. It certainly doesn’t come from our good works. It is not even believing that Jesus died for our sins, but then trying to add good works to that. It is through Jesus alone. He is the One who purchased our salvation on the Cross. Our response is to turn from our sins (repent) and trust in Him.

I have a blog page that goes into more detail on this;                              Here are a couple of others. Feel free to browse them, and send an email or comment to me.         and
