Can you prove that God exists? | Bible Daily Devotions for Teens, Christian Youth Articles | Fervr

I am going to post this link that leads to an article from another blog. This issue of having to prove the existence of God is interesting, yet the goal is the same as many other claims made by the Atheists. They assume (and I am sure they hope) that Christians are ignorant, and have blind faith. “You’re just a Christian because you were raised that way and don’t know any better” “You don’t know if what you believe in is true”. On the other side, Christians in the past have answered the Skeptics by saying things like, “It’s just in the Bible. That settles it for me”. It sounds like the decision for the Christian to be a Christian was not thought through (a no-brainer). Yes, a lot of people call themselves Christians today, and were raised in families who went to church, but many of them never understood the message of the Gospel. They identify with Christianity because they were raised in a religious family, but never understood what the basic tenets of Christianity are all about. The message never connected in their hearts. Others have come to Christ and have experienced salvation, but have never really studied or meditated upon the whole big picture of the story of redemption. We need to do what 1 Peter 3:15 says and be prepared to give answers to people who are asking the questions.Only God knows what will come out of the conversations we have with people, and it could mean the change of destiny for someone for eternity.
